We're the Ones Showing Up. Where Is Everyone Else?
Israel is fighting on multiple fronts on the battlefield. We're fighting everywhere else and we don't have backup.
They’re Not Coming After Israel First
They’re coming after us.
Not the way they’re coming after Israel. Israel’s war has a defined battlefield. Rockets, international courts, a coordinated global campaign to strip it of legitimacy. That’s a fight with edges, with geography, with an enemy you can see coming.
Ours doesn’t work that way.
What’s happening to diaspora Jews is an intifada on every level. Physical violence, campus intimidation, workplace pressure, social ostracism, political erosion, and cultural messaging so pervasive that people who’ve never met a Jewish person have strong opinions about what we deserve. It’s in our schools, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our friend groups, our families. There’s no single front because they’re hitting all of them at once.
A couple, Yaron Laschinsky and Sarah Milgrim were murdered outside a Jewish museum in Washington. Jews were firebombed in Boulder. A terrorist drove into a Michigan synagogue. In London, Jewish schools, synagogues, and charities were targeted with arson, explosives, and chemicals in a coordinated series of attacks earlier this year. A man ran down Golders Green Road in broad daylight trying to stab Jewish passersby. Two worshippers were killed in a terror attack at a Manchester synagogue last October. Twenty thousand people marched outside Downing Street in May because the attacks had become too constant to ignore. In Toronto, Jews make up 3.6 percent of the population but were the target of 35 percent of the city’s hate crimes in 2025. Last year, 21 Jews were murdered in antisemitic attacks across the diaspora, the highest number in thirty years.
Jewish students are hiding their identity on campuses in cities their families have called home for generations. Mezuzahs are coming off doorposts so guests don’t become targets.
This isn’t Tel Aviv. This is here in the West. The diaspora. This is everywhere.
Israel has the Iron Dome, the IDF, and a government whose entire reason for existing is Jewish survival within its borders. We have a Facebook account and the willingness to use it.
